Capital dictates the fate of humanity.

Life can give everything to whoever tries to understand and is willing to receive new knowledge.

You must first of all think justly. Don’t sit in judgment over others when you don’t know the truth of the matter.

It is proper for people to have friends, friendships without self-interest. Without friends, life is too lonely.

People must be just and fair, starting with what they thought.

You will not get the miracle you pray for until you realise you are the god to whom your prayers are directed

I try not to worry about the future - so I take each day just one anxiety attack at a time.

I just don't see myself as the heroine in my own narrative.

The point is, this is a way to help inoculate me about what has come and is coming.

I was raised Catholic. I didn't appreciate the guilt and sin part of it.

It may be old hat, but I see no reason to close off what is for me a fruitful subject of inquiry, especially so for one, like me, who is very much interested in creating stories and novels of ideas.

If somebody tells me I'm famous I say, 'I'm not.' I can't see myself as famous and I don't think I'll ever call myself famous. I definitely don't feel famous. To me, this is just a job.

Man is the epitome of all things and all knowledge is in him.

You can only do so many things great, and you should cast aside everything else.
