Without hope, I wouldn’t even try. Hope lifts me to consider new possibilities so I can stay the course of my desire, no matter what.

We cannot protect ourselves from disappointment and still live a fully engaged life.

Given that I don’t know anything, when I am making up stories about the future, why not make it a good story instead of a scary one?

When I act, I act on behalf of who or what I love. Even when I have to fight against something, it is because of what I value and love.

You have to discover how best you can manage your time to carry out your work effectively

Never keep your brain so full that people’s opinions take up every pew in your mind, and truth has to be “born again” before it is believed.

I refuse to let fear subjugate all my freedoms & liberty

I learned jazz; that comes from blues. I learned rock; that comes from blues. I learned pop; that comes from blues. Even dance, that comes from blues, with the answer-and-response.

Any cell, tissue, or organ is capable of crying for attention, and when you give it some, the healing process begins.

Be grateful for every thing good and bad that comes to you. For all things have contributed to your advancement.

Trust is an absurd phenomenon, logically absurd. That's why logic always says love is blind, although love has its own eyes, far more deep-going...still, to logic it is blind.
