Matthew David McConaughey was born on 4th November 1969 in Texas. He attended Longview High School and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin.
During the early 1990s, McConaughey started doing television commercials and appeared in a music video. He debuted on the big screen as 'Guy 2' in Bob Balaban's My Boyfriend's Back. His film Dazed and Confused made $7.9 million in North America and received a massive positive response.
