Charles M. Schulz was a notable cartoonist and an illustrator. He created the American based comic-animated series Peanuts, which managed to engage a lot of children.
He was born on November 26, 1922, in Minneapolis, USA. While growing up, he was very passionate about drawing cartoons and even studied cartooning after high school graduation.
Before joining the army, where he served for two years between 1944 and 1945, his mother passed away. Those two particular years haunted him. He never regrets joining the army, but the reality he saw there of war made him grow into a different personality.
After realizing that he wants to be a master in the creative field, he designed Peanuts. He put out his emotions while creating the main character of this series 'Charlie Brown', highlighting the difficulties a kid faces, though the name was an inspiration from a former co-worker. The show became quite famous, and so did all the characters.
His most famous nickname was "Sparky". He was appreciated for his magnificent ways of keeping his known characters fresh.
Schulz received the National Cartoonist Society Humor Comic Strip Award for Peanuts in 1962. He even received Congressional Gold Medal, the highest civilian honor the US legislature can award. 'Peanuts' was also listed under the Guinness Book of Worlds Record for being the world's most widely syndicated comic strip.
Schulz and his characters will be in everyone's heart, forever.
Let's hear some of his quotes that will inspire you.
In the book of life, the answers aren't in the back.
You don't get the advantage of knowing the solutions to the problems that occur in your life. You have to evolve by solving it yourself. You have to cross all the obstacles. No one will have your back and do it for you.
But remember, every problem does have a solution, even if you can't see it right away. You need to have faith. Things will get better.
Life is like an ice-cream cone, you have to lick it one day at a time.
You cannot do everything in one day. You cannot crack the purpose of life in just one moment. It takes years of dedication.
Here Schulz compares a way of living with eating an ice cream. The way you lick it away slowly, in the same way, you must take one step towards your success, one at a time.
If I were given the opportunity to present a gift to the next generation, it would be the ability for each individual to learn to laugh at himself.
A human must be as secure to be able to laugh at himself. A man must have a heart that knows how to giggle, especially at himself.
Your esteem builds from there. A person who evaluates his strength and weakness never gets dire because of other's opinions.
Learn to look at yourself with a light charm.
I never made a mistake in my life. I thought I did once, but I was wrong.
Every mistake that you make gives you a sense of your growth. A mistake is a lesson in itself.
A person who understands to inculcate something out of his failure makes it to the top.

Someone would leave. Someone always leaves.
Life is filled with temporary belongings.
People are temporary. The ritual of them leaving is one the most basic things in everyone's life.
Never stop living just because you lost someone. You will again meet new people. New ways of living replace your old ones. That is life.
Love is sharing your popcorn.
Let's face it. We don't like to share our food, especially our popcorns. It is a very human emotion. But we happily make this sacrifice for someone we adore and respect.
In Schulz's words, love is sharing. Love is not just sharing of popcorn but also of every part of your life, be it your highs, downs, likes, problems, and popcorn.
In life, it's not where you go, it's who you travel with.
A trip to your destination is indeed a celebration, but the people accompanying you to reach that destination matter more.
These are the people who stand by you when you have failed. They make your life a little more worth living. They give you a purpose. Be sure to find them and keep them closer to your heart.
I need more hellos.
No one likes a goodbye. It makes us ache for what's gone. We all need more comings. Coming of new people, new opportunities, new experiences, and new days. Hold to it. New days do bring new ways.

The dark clouds go away and there will be sunshine again if you're able to hold out.
In life, after you have suffered enough, things start to mend only to become beautiful. There is always a much-waited morning for everyone.
You must hold hope in your heart. Keep patience and fight all the problems that you are pushed in. Things get better with passing time.
I don't think God wants to be worshiped. I think the only pure worship of God is by loving one another, and I think all other forms of worship became a substitute for the love that we should show one another.
The real religion is love and humanity. You don't need to pray every day only to be good to everyone, and that is enough.
Jesus or Allah or Krishna or whoever you believe in teaches us to be kind and help others. That God never asks for you to preach to him daily; he asks you to be a good and virtuous person. He wants you to be an honest person who gives nothing but love.
To live is to dance, to dance is to live.
Life is an enjoyment. We must groove our way till the end of it. When you learn to enjoy it with full devotion, it becomes as fun as dance.
At the same time, a person must know how to groove now and then to blow away all hustles freely.
Troubles are our permanent partner, but that doesn't mean we cannot have fun. Right?
It's just human nature…we all need someone to kiss us goodbye.
We, humans, crave love. We crave for a partner. We need endearment. Everyone does. In tough times people who love us are our anchor in the sinking boat.
We want someone in our lives that makes us soup when we are sick and hold our hand when others leave.
We need someone to be there for us at the end of a tough day.
My ambition from earliest memory was to produce a daily comic strip.
Schulz's dream has always been to become a cartoonist. And he did become one. Rather a great one.
With this, we learn that if we believe in our dreams enough. If we trust in our passion enough and devote ourselves to it. We can achieve anything.
You must work that hard towards it.
My life has no purpose, no direction, no aim, no meaning, and yet I'm happy. I can't figure it out. What am I doing right?
If you want to be happy, you could be happy. You don't need a gravity of things to make you feel buoyant.
You don't need a specific criteria fulfillment to be happy. All you need is just peace of mind. And one can only achieve it by accepting what we have and being satisfied by that.

I never give my work to somebody else and say, 'What do you think about that?' I just don't trust anybody. If I think it's funny, or if I think it's silly, I send it in anyway because I'm just trying to please myself.
Never let anyone's opinion direct your life. You will never be able to satisfy anyone with that or yourself, for that matter.
You must be your critic and your motivation. Trust your instincts and your guts. If your art is giving you a message, then let it flow.
I love the kind of hugs where you can physically feel the sadness leaving your body.
This world is filled with sad people needing just the right amount of endearment. The presence of someone's support in your life can ease your agony.
A hug is an underrated remedy. When you give a hug, you also receive a hug. You give your physical care to each other. So never hesitate to provide your love to someone.
The less you want, the more you love.
Acceptance. Accepting things that lie in your way can be a real fibre of a person's nature.
You can endear a great amount of serenity by wanting less and giving more to people.
Accepting people's flaws and loving them despite builds your relationship.
It is not important to have a bag of materialistic things to be in a good position.
You should have love and only love to give.
Keep looking up… that's the secret of life.
Failures are a part of your journey. There are times that you fall. There are times things make you feel inferior. But remember, you have to keep looking ahead at your targets.
To be able to reach the top, you must keep your eyes at the top.
You have to keep your head straight. Smacking away all the insecurities.

No matter how strongly we feel our stand to be the right stand, we must take a look at it with all the possible dimensions.
Being in other's shoes gives us a different perspective that we might have missed in the first place.
It is not something to be ashamed of. Being wrong is very raw and natural. Accepting it and correcting it right away is what we must learn.
Happiness is a warm puppy.
As a puppy, happiness is very comforting. A puppy makes you feel at home; it makes you feel accepted and calm, just like happiness.
Both make you laugh. Indeed happiness is a puppy(You choose which breed).
