Here are some of the most amazing quotes of Jimmy Buffett.

It takes no more time to see the good side of life than the bad.

The time we invest in wailing over the blemishes our life has or for the things we lack, we should rather indulge in being grateful for our possessions.

It is in our hands, whether we are trying to see the pleasures our life contains or nagging over the bad clouds. And your decision, my friend, would change the colour of your life.

I can't change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination.

Sometimes life doesn't walk like we imagined it to be, and because of that, we discourage ourselves. Because our present doesn't look the way we wanted it to be, our goal becomes a blur. But here, Jimmy teaches us that we can change our strategies and try to shape our motion in a new way to achieve our mission.

In simpler words, make new plans with new methods while having utmost hope in your heart and sail towards your dreams.

Breathe in, breathe out, move on.

It is important to feel the agony that roots within us in times of turmoil or heartbreak. We need to sit down and relax for a bit.

And then, as Buffett says, stand up and keep walking. Don't make chain yourselves to the lousy patch. Keep walking.

Quitting doesn't enter my mind.

The most successful souls are the ones that kept their mind firm and did not fail by their failures. And so is this great man Jimmy Buffett who had his fair share of failures, controversies yet he didn't quit.

One who quits never wins.

Forget the blind ambition and learn to trust your guts.

Often we get so invested in fulfilling some irrational goals that we forget whether it is something that we want and if it will make us truly happy.

We must learn to know what our heart is craving and follow it. Follow your guts.

Life is more manageable when thought of as a scavenger hunt as opposed to a surprise party.

When we expect life to turn out to be lucrative all by itself, we more than often end up being disappointed. We cannot just sit all compressed and wish things to fall in an alluring shape.

We should stand up and rush to make things happen for ourselves. Make our dreams come true.

You are your own best teacher.

There is a lesson weaved for us at every passing edge in our life. Some of which are veiled as a person and some of which are clad in an austere phase but the most crucial of all are we.

We indeed are our greatest influence and our greatest motivator. The only thing we need is a proper insight.

Life is a tire swing.

A tire swing is just a mere tire tied to a tree with no further safety measure, just like life.

Buffett's beautiful comparison here states that we cover this life journey without any manual. The comparison also speaks that life is just as fun as a tire swing with occasional jitters and sometimes fear of falling.

Change in latitude Change in attitude.

A man's heart is directly connected with nature or the surrounding. An abysmal mood can be converted into a pure utopia just by the change of environment.

Jimmy is an extreme admirer of the ocean and shores and has written most of his songs about it. He has mentioned the amount of bliss he experiences when he is there. That is what has changed his attitude.

I slowly surrender to the child in me who can't say goodbye.

A child's heart is as pure as gold; he is naïve and often forms an attachment to things he eventually finds difficult to separate from. Jimmy here talks to embracing that child in him. He tells how he is again learning not to let go of people, places, or things.

In my family and friends I have discovered treasure more valuable than gold.

You might earn the world full of money and luxury, but no amenity will ever overtake the gravity of your friends and family in your life.

They are the true happiness, ones that will be present with you at your worst and your best. They are your actual treasure.

Fun is about as a good habit as there is.

In this world of regimen, we are losing the touch of glee. In schools, we are designed to become disciplined statues but remember that having fun is without question, the most crucial part that we need to hold on to.

Remember to feel that light bliss now and the,n because it is essential than the amount of penny you have in your pocket.

Be yourselves, be pleasant, play hard, and have no regrets

Live the life you want to live, be what you want to be, live where you want to live, become what you want to become, a life of tranquillity that soothes you.

Don't give up. Just keep fighting for yourself and your dreams. And do this without lamenting because you own your journey.

If we couldn't laugh we would all go insane.

No one could live a good, healthy life without being happy. So, laugh out loud and forget everything.

The ocean has always been a salve to my soul.

Everyone has something very special and personal that produces assuage to their mind. As Jimmy unconditionally adores the ocean, it heals him internally.

Just like that, find that comforting chattel that will never cease making you feel at home.

Oh, yesterdays are over my shoulder,

So I can't look back for too long.

There's just too much to see waiting in front of me,

and I know that I just can't go wrong.

The past is gone; what happened in it is now far back. We filter what happened so a sensible thing to do would be to move on and keep walking.

Your future is something that holds millions of new opportunities and experiences, so be curious about that with glimmering hope.

Go fast enough to get there, but slow enough to see.

Your life journey is like a road trip; the destination is not as best as the sights from the car. So be determined towards your goal and be diligent. But at the same time remain unlatched and feel the trip, look at the surroundings, and most importantly have fun.

Some of it's magic and some of it's tragic but I had a good life all the way.

Some experiences haunt you, and then some experiences give you hope. Life has variations that sum up to a good life. Be it gloomy or radiant, every event of your life will matter. Each one of them will make your life meaningful.

I am inspired by people who keep on rolling no matter their age.

Age is just a number. Whether your face is having wrinkles or expecting a moustache doesn't matter if you want to live. Every person, despite his length of existence, must groove.

Life is a journey that's not measured in miles or years, but experiences.

On the verge of your life, it won't matter how old you are or how long you lived; what matters is how much you have lived. The days you lived would matter and the people you lived with. Remember that.

Take it all in… it's as big as it seems. Count all your blessings. Remember your dreams.

Whatever life gives you try to embrace it. Learn to be open to challenges and to fight disruptions. Remember all the gifts you have, take a moment to appreciate them. Take a moment to blow away the haze and focus on your destination.
